Before every Christmas, Netflix is swamped with a flurry of feel good Christmas centric movies celebrating the festival cheer with myriad content wherein everything falls right in place towards the end amidst oodles of hope, faith and love.
I used to crave for similar movies around Diwali and my silent prayers got beautifully answered this year with the release of Greater Kalesh on our very own Netflix!
Plot:
"Hoping to surprise her parents and brother for Diwali, Twinkle's visit reveals unexpected tension as she attempts to rediscover what family truly means."
Analysis:
The movie starts with mess and chaos in the Greater Kailash based Handa family with issues pertaining to lies, finance, theft, non conventional romantic liaisons, a supposedly extra marital affair and the likes.
But it ends with meaningful closures, love, togetherness, revelations and true blue Diwali cheer!
Conclusion:
It's a short & sweet family flick, aptly released during the festival of lights.
